Look here pal, this whole debacle’s about one thing and one thing only, and that’s business. It’s about getting what’s yours and giving me what’s mine and credit and appreciation going to the appropriate sources. It’s about professionalism, and Tom Sennett has none.

Doesn’t it seem a little odd to you that some snarky snot-nosed punk who’s never put together anything by himself more complicated than a WarioWare ripoff suddenly waltzes in after nearly a year of radio silence with this fully formed, remarkably intricate piece of artistry? Are we really to believe the kid somehow fell ass-backwards into a big ol’ pile of divine creative inspiration, then mustered the intense will to actually see it through after countless failed projects? I mean seriously, we all know RunMan was only any good because Matt Thorson was involved.

Tom Sennett is a fraud. He stole my work, cut all the spice with his weaksauce formalist bullshit, and slapped a price tag on it. He can burn his own reputation to the ground, but I’ll be damned if he does the same to mine.

Tonight we initiate the downfall of a despot: the tyrant Tom Sennett.

His dominion over the Cave of Robots dilutes our vibrancy. His unchecked ego flails. His inconstant constitution falters.

Games were not meant for this. Not meant to coddle, to accommodate, to tease and shower affection. Games were not meant to give it away.

Games must challenge. You must come out of play stronger than you were. You must fail, or victory means nothing.

Tonight we destroy barriers. Tonight I reveal a glimpse of the badass shit that goes on in the other side of the building. Tonight you begin your training.
